Real Time Data

Just how much rain fell today, or last month in your community? Are the gates on the canal up the block open? How high is water in Lake Okeechobee right now?

The SFWMD has monitoring equipment throughout its 16 counties. In the real-time monitoring network, you can check to see water levels in lakes, canals and waterways throughout the region, and/or check to see if coastal gates and other water control structures are open or closed.

Structures are named S-###. Gates are G-###. Canals are marked with C-###. A map of District Structures (a 2-part PDF, with Overview [PDF] and detailed Insets [PDF] shows how the parts of the SFWMD regional system are named.
