The permitting section is responsible for all phases of the review and processing of applications for Right of Way Permits. This includes the handling of application processing fees, routing of applications for comment, gathering data and input necessary to arrive at a staff recommendation, corresponding with the applicant, preparation of agenda items and mailing approved permits to the applicant.
Related activities include monitoring the recording of permits in the public records, transferring permits, extending permits, and the monitoring of certain permits for deliverables.
