The restoration of the C-18 canal downstream of Water Control Structure S-46 in Jupiter, Florida, is an ongoing environmental enhancement effort of the Right of Way Division. The plan involves reconnecting portions of the original channel of Limestone Creek to C-18, removal of exotic plant species, and revegetation with native species. The Right of Way Division staff is working closely with the Loxahatchee Landings Homeowner's Association, River Oaks Residents, Limestone Creek Subdivision, the Limestone Creek Community Association, Jupiter Landings Residents, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Environmental Protection and private homeowners in an effort to accomplish a complete restoration project.
