bullet REVIEW the draft Public Recreational Use and Access Rule.

Recreational Guide cover

Want to hike along a tree-lined trail, observe exotic birds or other wildlife, or canoe through peaceful waterways and see what Florida "au natural" is like?

The Recreational Guide offers maps and details about a wide variety of recreational opportunities throughout SFWMD's 16 counties.

From the Upper Chain of Lakes in central Florida to the cypress forests of southwest Florida, to the broad watery expanse of Lake Okeechobee or the pocket islands of the Keys: our region offers opportunities you may never even have thought were available!

The ecosystems and wildlife you'll have a chance to observe are, with you, direct beneficiaries of the restoration and land acquisition programs that the SFWMD and other local, state and federal governments work on together to preserve our shared natural resources.
