On June 1, 2007, the following presentation was made at the Broward County Planner’s Workshop that provided information to assist local governments in complying with the new statutory requirements.
Public participation and input was coordinated through the District's Water Resources Advisory Commission (WRAC). Several Lower East Coast Regional Water Supply Plan Water Resources Advisory Commission workshops were held till the summer of 2006 in the planning region to present information and receive public input on water resource issues. The workshops were open to the public and participation was strongly encouraged.
