Specific rules will address the three semi-confined aquifers in the Lower West Coast Planning Region. Criteria will be proposed that define the limit of permitable drawdowns if no other permit criteria otherwise limit permitable drawdowns to a shallower depth. These criteria will be linked to water shortage restriction through revisions to rule 40E-22 F.A.C., and existing criteria contained in 40E-8 for minimum flow and levels.
