The Water Control Operations Bureau publishes hydrographs for major water bodies within the District on a daily basis. The graphs are updated by 0400 each morning using the daily averages for the previous day. These daily average dampen the magnitude of stage changes associated wind driven changes in the Lake stage at the location the stages are measured.

Water Control Operations is experimenting with a new method to produce daily hydrographs based on the Data Storage System (DSS) application from the USACE.
