This monitoring is being undertaken to evaluate the performance of the Nubbin Slough STA in the reduction of TP loading and to verify that discharge from the STA does not exceed Class III water quality standards. Prior to construction, baseline data was collected at the Grassy Island STA site from Nubbin Slough. The data include total flow in Nubbin Slough, velocity, flow proportional TP, and grab samples for a suite of parameters selected to document the improvement in water quality discharging into a Class III water body. |
